I thought I'd be tempted to wait for the PC or console release with a game like this, but in fact I'm going to keep playing on iPhone. Beyond Blue is a project developed with the BBC's Blue Planet 2 bunch and E-Line, who you may know from Never Alone. When a game tries to teach players something it is often forced or not really fun to play, with Beyond Blue from E-line Media it is the exact opposite. If I can’t get this fixed I’m going to have to request a refund. I have also tried clearing cache in settings. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Later on I found a hub of sorts and had various chats over the computer, choosing answers and questions and getting a stronger sense of where things are going. I have recently bought Beyond Blue and for some reason it won’t let me start a new game. I dived, chatted to my fellow scientists and moved from one simple objective to the next. It's a testament to how well it's all done that I forgot for a long time that this was a game, but Beyond Blue is in fact a narrative adventure, one that comes together with exquisite slowness over the first half hour. I've spent a long time here already, just moving over rocks, tracking dolphins, listening to the alien clicks of communication. Whale sharks, mantas, scores of little fish gadding about. The navigation chair was a bit useless because it only allowed you to have conversations with Mirai’s crew and sister. If your gamepad does not work, remember - the games usually officially support only native Xbox controllers. I liked the ability to choose which song I wanted to listen to. Have any technical issues with Beyond Blue. The music playlist (which you can find on Spotify) features various artists with an overall ocean/water theme tying them together.
